★ 1861, Rothe Erde was founded in Dortmund, Germany.
★ 1934, Rothe Erde GmbH started to produce slewing bearing.
★ 1981, Xuzhou Slewing Co. licensed the slewing bearing design and production      technology from Rothe Erde GmbH.
★ On May 1st, 2002, the joint-venture company Xuzhou Rothe Erde Slewing Bearing      Co., Ltd (XREB) was established. Rothe Erde GmbH of Germany holds 60% of the
     shares while Xuzhou Slewing Ring Co. of Xuzhou Construction and Machinery Group
     (XCMG) holds 40%. All the operational assets related to slewing bearings and steel
     balls products of Xuzhou Slewing Ring Co. were transferred to the joint-venture
     company.
★ December 2004, the two-year lasting modernization work on the old Wanzhai slewing
     bearing plant was completed, The equipment technology on the existing production
     lines was thus greatly improved, raising the product quality level significantly.
★ January 2005, the first brand-new slewing bearing production line of XREB, specially
     designed for excavator bearings, was completed and went into operation.
★ January 2006, Jin Shanqiao bearing plant (i.e. the 1st phase of REX) located in
     Xuzhou Economic Development Zone was launched for production.
★ December 2006, the precision bearing production line for Medical CT Scanners was
     completed.
★ June 2007, the first specialized bearing production line for wind turbine was
     completed and went into operation in Jin Shanqiao bearing plant (i.e. the 2nd phase
     of REX).
★ December 2007, after years of expansion work, the steel ball production capacity of
     Wanzhai steel ball plant has tripled compared to the time at the start of the JV.
★ On April 28, 2008, the ground-breaking ceremony for “Xuzhou Rothe Erde - REX
     Wind Turbine Slewing Bearing Project” was held in our Jin Shanqiao New Plant
     area.
★ February 2009, “Xuzhou Rothe Erde - REX Wind Turbine Slewing Bearing Project”
     started partial operation, and it is expected to reach its full designed production
     capacity in October 2009.
★ August 2009, XREB entered into an agreement with Xuzhou Land & Resource
     Bureau, which will repurchase the land of Wanzhai Plant area from XREB. It is
     intended to relocate the old plants to the new site in Jin Shanqiao Economic
     Development Zone within the next few years.
★ August 2009, REX Jin Shaoqiao plant obtained the ISO 14000 & 18000 certification
     issued by DNV.
